40 yrs ago when my son was a tiny baby, he wouldn't stop screaming. Nothing I did made any difference. I was so worried I completely undressed him to examine him from head to foot. I found a few hairs stuck tightly around his toes inside his baby gro/romper suit. I had very long hair at the time, I felt so bad.

I have a 4 month old boy and i activate his startle reflex all the time. I do it on purpose. He laughs after he realizes that there is no danger because i always smile and laugh at him to let him know that everything is okay.
He needs to learn that not everything that scares him is actually dangerous.
My baby must be starving then cause his little hands have been balled up for months.
After 6 months is when you should do the Ferber method, before that, TEND TO EVERY NEED.
