7. Sweep those tiny toys with a broom and dustpan- legos, bricks, tiny dollparts. No need to bend down, no need to pick up individual pieces. Also push all the toys on the floor to one corner using a large plastic bin lid- then you can sort and put away without running around like a chicken without a head

11. I love the bag method – will start using it! I have an addition to it. 🙂 I keep a bag in each room that collects "trash". I am trying reduce my stuff!! So when I see something that I don't need to keep, it goes straight into the bag and at the end of the week – they all go to the trash/recycling/donations… Before company comes over, I light a scented candle as well. I have hard wood floors – sometimes a take a broom and sweep EVERYTHING into a corner. Now I will add the bag method and I should be done in 5 minutes. 🙂

12. I turn on my favorite song mix on Spotify and set a 15 minute timer. Then I do as much as I can in 15 minutes. I do this 1-5 times a day depending on my energy levels.

    I do the same bag method in the living room as you do. My kitchen has very little separation from dining area and living room so they all get toys on the floor thanks to my 4 year old twin. So for the kitchen and dining area since I have hardwood I sweep everything into a pile and sort it all at once. Sweeping doesn’t work in the living room because of the carpet so I just move around it in a circle.

    I also sort their toys in bins and they can only have 2 bins (1 each) down at a time. I have a playroom in the basement but I only clean that once a week because it’s out of sight from most company.

13. Reducing the stuff I have seriously changed my cleaning game. Less stuff to tidy up and clean, less stuff to move around to clean under it, only so many dishes and clothes to go through so I never have piles of them, etc.

14. I have been known to slide the pans into the oven, and the dirty dishes under the sink when companies coming. 😉
